our stay at fischerhaus in starnberg surpassed our expectations. the staff was attentive, the room was clean and well-furnished, and the location was convenient. we particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the quiet atmosphere at night. it was a perfect spot for a romantic trip.

Late booking resulted in a small upper floor room. Recommendation is to book early.

TV...not a good guide for TV, and had to really hunt and search..did not find English station CNN till last night. Need a guide even for German stations of which ones are actually hooked up.

the hotel's location is marvellous, really close to the centre, the train station and the lake and public transport. for lunch or dinner go to essbar vine & gin, located within short walking distance to the property.

Thank you for a very comfortable stay. The staff are exceptional, the hotel is wonderful small and with favourable location close to the center of Starnberg, close to the train station and the lake, and Starnberg, close to the train station and the lake. The atmosphere of the property is quiet!

This is a small hotel so maybe doesn't have all the frills of a large chain, but the exceptional friendliness of the reception staff made it a very welcoming and pleasant place to stay. The location of the hotel in a quiet side street in the centre of Starnberg is excellent for exploring locally or getting to Munich on the train (Just €13.50 for a partner ticket covering all buses and trains). The room was a good size and very comfortable. Bathroom a bit small but clean and everything worked exceptionally well. The breakfast buffet was very good with a wide choice of hot and cold dishes.

I recently stayed at Fischerhaus in a charming, quiet town near Munich. The staff were lovely and quickly checked me into a small but comfortable room. The hotel is conveniently located near the Sbahn station, making it easy to explore Munich, which is about a 20-minute ride away. The room was well-appointed and clean, with amazing windows that let in a nice breeze. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which offered a variety of breads, cheese, and meats. it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊
